- create a gratitude journal. it can be in a diary, notebook, or even something you scribble on a post-it note. think of something new every time you write.
- focus on what you want and what you like instead of what you don’t have or things you hate. your energy affects the world around you. a negative outlook with draw negative things to you and create a self fulfilling prophecy.
- on that same note, unfollow/block the things you don’t want to see online. don’t watch a sad tv show if you know it’s going affect the rest of your day. play happy music. watch cute animal videos. get up and sing or dance. you create your immediate environment, try to make it a happy one.
- act like you already have the things you want. that doesn’t mean spending money you don’t have, or walking around your crowded house naked because you want to live alone! it just means getting excited about the future you want to create. create a pinterest board for the way you would decorate your dream home. make a list of all the things you’re going to pay off/buy once your bank account is filled up.
- even when you’re feeling low, remind yourself that this energy state isn’t your norm. repeat a mantra like “this sadness is a temporary visitor”, or “even though I can’t get out of bed today, I will wake up tomorrow and start brand new”.
- make a crystal grid on the floor of your bedroom and charge it with fresh, confident energy.
- daydream about good things. if you feel yourself dreading something, or feeling sad or afraid, go to a different place in your brain. create a safe place to escape, and fill it with all the things you want. imagine what it would be like to touch/smell/see those things. add details. put that image out into the universe, and it will listen.
